Interviews & Report

We interview each team member to build a picture of how they view the team, what works, what doesn’t, and how well the leader inspires and leads. We compile a report, which we share first with the leader and then with the entire team.

This intel is invaluable. The confidentiality of the interviews allows for honest input and helps us build rapport with each person.

Roadmap Outline

We present the roadmap outline to the leader. This includes which leadership assessments we will use to develop awareness of the team’s patterns, the steps needed to resolve challenging dynamics, and how we will build on existing strengths.

The more open the team leader is to feedback about themselves and the team, the more we can pave the way for a successful outcome.

Assessments build self-awareness and accountability, which are key to successful collaboration. We use them to uncover strengths (both untapped and over-utilized ones), blind spots, and development needs at the individual and team level. Each member’s results are first discussed one-on-one and then shared with the executive team.

Assessments provide the team with a common language and a safe tool to discuss challenging behaviors and difficult issues productively.

Team Sessions

These are the core component of the leadership team alignment process. Using the results of both interviews and assessments, the team learns to understand each other, be open and vulnerable, and engage in hard conversations. They commit to more effective ways of working together. They get to resolve conflicts in real time.

The true alignment happens in the team sessions as members develop awareness of their synergies, build greater trust, and improve communication.
